In rhinoplasty surgery, the patient's wishes are evaluated, the nasal cartilage tissue structure is revised and the procedure is completed. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 1-2 hours. The patient stays at the hospital for one night and is discharged the next morning.​

There are two techniques used in rhinoplasty surgeries. The first is the open rhinoplasty technique, and the second is the closed rhinoplasty technique. Open rhinoplasty surgery provides better results in terms of aesthetics and convenience, because the nasal dorsum and surgery become easier. For this reason, Open Rhinoplasty is a widely preferred method among rhinoplasty surgery techniques. Rhinoplasty surgery candidates can see their new nose before surgery with a simulation application.

When rhinoplasty is completed, a cast is applied to preserve the shape of the nose. Bruises may occur around the eyes and nose 1 or 2 days after surgery. These bruises are minimized with ice packs after surgery. The cast will be applied by your plastic surgeon on the 7th day of your rhinoplasty surgery.

It is important for Rhinoplasty patients to rest after the first week of the operation. Water from the shower should be prevented from entering the nose. We recommend that our patients who smoke do not smoke, especially in the first week, to speed up the healing process. Wearing glasses is not recommended for the first 30 days after rhinoplasty surgery.
